I was able to finally get a drawing table today. ♥
Much like a dream come true, this also spells better posture and less hunching, which I normally do when I work on 18x12 plates.
On a side note, I've been tuning in to Discovery Channel and National Geographic more than the obviously destructive Daily Top 10 and The Insider in ETC.
You should try it too. It's good brain exercise (for me at least).

I finally finished separating my art & scrapbooking supplies from the "work" supplies this morning.
I just got back from a terrible cold that I know now was partly psychological since the mess in my drawers was making the thoughts, ideas and concepts in my head scatter and de-materialize. I wish I had those fancy suitcases, and brush containers those professional (and dedicated) artists have but I guess I have to rely on this cute, small but sturdy plastic container for now. Besides, someone once said that a true artist should not rely so much on his tools.
I've been listening to some She & Him and Owl City albums lately.
I only know She & Him's Zooey Dechanel from the movies and didn't know she was also active in the music scene. Her eyes are sensational! They seem to pierce you to your soul or something and her voice sounds very soothing. It feels like the typical Sunday afternoon at home listening to my grandpa's old records.

There has been a series of new things my blockmates and I have started trying out this term. Polo Mondays is one of them even though everybody isn't able to cooperate we're all trying to stick to the dress code *wink*.
We've also tried eating at the ehem ... infamous pancit canton strip which hasn't disappointed me at all in terms of taste.
Tuesday is L4D day. If you haven't heard it yet, it's this awesome zombie multiplayer game in 1st person shooter gameplay.
Then there's Monochromatic class and Fundamentals of design. The plates are now more challenging but much more fun at the same time.
Anyways... plates plates platelets are decreasing au revoir dearies!

One of the few vocabulary words I've come across when I entered college.
I've been referred to this once or twice by my guy friends. Hopefully they meant well when they said it.

My 2nd plate for Visuals I class. Good enough?
